Gram Chetna Kendra's efforts in agricultural transformation have revolutionized agriculture in dry areas. Construction of farm ponds and access to clean drinking water through guidance and construction of dedicated rainwater harvesting structures for drinking water have had a profound impact on community health. Women and children no longer have to make arduous journeys to fetch water. This improved access to clean drinking water has directly translated into improved health outcomes, especially for vulnerable groups such as newborns, mothers and the elderly.
